Villa Dorada

Villa Dorada began with a steep, difficult plot and a brief that left no room for compromise: a house that sits in conversation with the hillside rather than against it. Our team worked alongside the architect from the earliest sketches, resolving the terrain, the structure and the finishes together rather than one after the other.

The living spaces unfold across three levels, each opening onto an uninterrupted view of the Mediterranean. Floor-to-ceiling glazing, set in slim steel frames fabricated to measure, brings morning light onto honey-toned stone floors laid and finished by hand.

The infinity pool is cantilevered over the hillside as if suspended above the sea. It demanded deep structural engineering and an obsessive approach to waterproofing — the kind of detail that is invisible when it is right and unforgivable when it is wrong.

Inside, the principal suite occupies the entire upper level. Joinery throughout was designed and built in our partner workshop: walnut, oak and brushed brass, every junction resolved to the millimetre. A spa with hammam, a cinema room and a wine cellar complete a house that was handed over on the agreed date, snagged and ready to live in.
